Our comfortable safari tents are situated just above the river, so you can relax and enjoy views of the lush countryside and jungle clad surrounding mountains. We hope you will take the opportunity to join our thrilling and heart pumping activities including white water rafting and kayaking, canyoning and abseiling. For those looking for something more sedate, the area offers beautiful walks and our flat water kayaking is suitable for all ages and abilities. The river is refreshing, our activities are awesome fun whilst being always safe, and our food is mouthwateringly delicious.

Wade Campbell
Managing Director (Sri Lanka)

A native of Canada, Wade has almost 30 years experience delivering outdoor adventure and training programmes in North America and Asia for tourist, corporate and youth groups. He began his career in 1984 with the Canadian Outward Bound School, and Borderlands Sri Lanka was founded in 2004, after many years based at Borderlands Nepal. His love and unending enthusiasm has been at the heart of making Borderlands what it is today.

Dian Gomes
Share Holder (Sri Lanka)

Dian Gomes is a Group Director of MAS Holdings; a USD 1 Billion enterprise, and the Managing Director of the group’s largest Business Division, MAS Intimates. A USD 350 Million entity, MAS Intimates manufactures lingerie for global brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Marks & Spencer, DBA and H&M. Dian also plays the crucial role of overseeing Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Branding and CSR of MAS Holdings; which employs over 60,000 associates in 10 countries in diversified areas ranging from pioneering apparel manufacturing in South Asia to fashion and lifestyle, retail, education and apparel related IT services.

Megh Ale
Managing Director (Nepal)

Megh Ale is one of Nepal’s leading figures in rafting. Having spent several years working and exploring the rivers and jungles of Nepal, including four years at the Bardiya National Park as a naturalist, Megh is always ready to share his deep understanding of Nepal and its myriad cultures, plants and animals. He is the founder and president of the Nepal River Conservation Trust (NRCT), and the Managing Director of Ultimate Descents Nepal and the Borderlands Nepal.
